Climate and Clothing
he average temperature in Tel Aviv in January for a typical day ranges from a high of 63°F (17°C) to a low of 51°F (11°C).
Clothing is informal for all occasions.
Entry Visa to Israel
Passport holders of EU countries, the USA and Canada, do not require entry visas to Israel. For participants from other countries we suggest you check the website of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the following links or check with your local Israeli embassy, consulate or travel agent.

This invitation is prepared solely to assist with visa application or participation requirements, and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support or confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. Electricity
The Israeli power supply is single phase 220 volts at 50 Hertz. Most power sockets in Israel have three-pin holes, but many of them will work with double-pin European plugs.
Currency and Money Exchange
The currency unit in Israel is the New Israeli Shekel (NIS), “Shekel” in short. International credit cards are accepted for payment in the majority of hotels, restaurants and shops. Most ATMs accept all major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, Diners, and American Express.
Tipping
When a restaurant bill does not include service, a 10% tip should be added. If you get exceptionally good service, you may thank with a tip closer to 15-20%. Taxi drivers are generally not tipped.
Liability and Insurance
The IPPS 2027 Conference Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to arrange their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
